Jahrhunderts und aktuellen Diskursen - zeigt, dass das Spiel theologisch-religionspädagogisch recht verstanden eine Dimension menschlicher Bildungsprozesse ist. Playing is employed in religious education as a method, but does not form a central idea or principle. The loss of importance of play in religious education is regrettable. How does religious education deal with the fact that play and playing are integral parts of human life? This volume looks at play as an pedagogical dimension of religious education. It investigates the most important theological documents - from the Bible to Martin Luther, Comenius, and Schleiermacher up to modern theological and ethical concepts and discussions, and shows that play is understood in theological and religious studies circles today as one dimension of human educational processes.
