Dante’s Divine Comedy is among the greatest works of world literature. Until now, Romance language scholars have contributed more to evaluating its legal-philosophical content than legal scholars. Now, this legal study examines the sense of justice as expressed in Dante’s Divine Comedy under consideration of his principal work of legal philosophy and his other works.
