Satirische Sprache und Sprachreflexion - Grimmelshausen im diskursiven Kontext seiner Zeit

The book presents Grimmelshausen’s place in the 17^th-century linguistic discourse of patriotism. In analyzing this discourse, it describes a number of connective elements in discourse that help to interpret the satirical pamphlet “Teutscher Michel.” The author goes on to examine Grimmelshausen’s satirical engagement with the language of patriotic discourse and with the linguistic practices of his times.
