Die Pornographie der Gesellschaft - Beobachtungen eines populärkulturellen Phänomens

Against the backdrop of its pop-cultural normalization, pornography is often hotly debated. At the same time, the phenomenon of hardcore pornography has been insufficiently tackled from a social-theoretical perspective. Instead of rehearsing fruitless moral debates, Sven Lewandowski poses the question of the relation of modern society with its pornography in a new way. From sociological, psychoanalytic, systems theoretical perspectives, he shows that pornography lives off latent significative content and both drives and reflects the transformation of the sexual.

Sven Lewandowski (Dr. phil.) ist Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben am Institut für Politikwissenschaft und Sozialforschung der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Lehrbeauftragter am Institut für Soziologie der Leibniz Universität Hannover und Mitglied des Beirats der Zeitschrift für Sexualforschung.
