Art historians and cultural scholars have become interested in the subject of exile as the locus of artistic experience as well as in the travels and wanderings of painters, sculptors, and architects in search of new insights about the world. Researchers have also focused on artworks created in the context of migration. This volume broadens the perspective on these phenomena, which have been studied only separately until now.
